Small wind turbines

E-3 HAWT

Engineered for high-output performance in land-based environments, our small wind turbines deliver consistent, off-grid power for a wide range of industrial and remote applications.

Core performance specs of the E-3 HAWT

Designed to perform in high-wind conditions, our small wind turbines combine durability, advanced control systems, and high-efficiency output. Below are four essential metrics that define the system’s performance and suitability for off-grid, land-based installations.

Rotor dimensions

Swept area: 11.34 m2
Diameter: 3.8 m
Radius: 1.9 m

Rotor speed

250 RPM

Optimised for steady wind conditions

Weight

Core characteristics of the E-3 HAWT

From cold climates to remote installations, the E-3 is engineered with simple, rugged components that deliver reliable energy with minimal maintenance in even the harshest conditions.

Blades

Glass fibre, with a high-density polyurethane core and a root reinforcement provides optimum strangth and performance.

Variable pitch

Patented system allows for passive control of the angle of attack of the blades. This innovative system has 2 speeds of action: the first 30 degrees absorb wind gusts and the next 15 degrees act to limit runaway during sustained high winds.

Generator

A new design which optimizes production by keeping all copper conductors within the magnetic field. Together with its 20 poles and N50 neodymium magnets, increases the generation of energy by 15% from the previous model.

Steering rudder

A steel core embedded in high density polyurethane and coated with glass fibre helps to pitch tbhe turbine into the wind, maximizing energy output.

Controller & monitoring

Configurable controller electronics allows the turbine to adapt to the type of grid or batteriesconnected, providing maximum energy generation. Remote monitoring ensures the wind turbine is operating at its peak performance at all times.
